Wine cocktails are especially refreshing in the warm summer months, and they even make great brunch or pool party beverages since they are lighter in alcohol. Here’s a quick Burgundy Bubbler to enjoy on a warm summer day: Mix one part Almaden Burgundy with four parts ginger ale and pour over ice in your favorite cocktail glass. Say “Si” to Sangria!

Sangria makes a great party beverage because it appeals even to those who don’t normally drink red wines. You can throw an authentic Spanish tapas party in no time at all by pairing some tasty appetizers with Emeril’s sangria recipe. What foods to serve? Think finger foods like olives, bread with goat cheese and fresh herbs, deviled eggs seasoned with chile powder or crisp sausage bites. Ole!
